AP/​AR Manager - Remote Role in Blockchain Payments

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AP/AR Manager to join Polygon Labs in a remote capacity. As an AP/AR Manager, you will play a crucial role in transforming our accounts payable and accounts receivable operations into a modern, automation-first function. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading blockchain payments company that is dedicated to moving money instantly and reliably on-chain.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve end-to-end AP/AR operations while building scalable systems to support a growing global payments business.
• Lead full-cycle AP and AR processes across fiat and on-chain transactions, including invoicing, collections, vendor management, reconciliations, and cash application.
• Build and standardize revenue operations workflows to support multiple on-chain and traditional revenue streams.
• Drive AR collections strategy, partnering cross-functionally on sensitive accounts and dispute resolution.
• Reconcile bank accounts and on-chain wallets; maintain subledgers and ensure accurate month-end close alignment with the general ledger.
• Evaluate, implement, and integrate automation tools, including AI-powered invoice capture, auto-reconciliation, intelligent payment reminders, and billing platforms.
• Manage and mentor a part-time Bookkeeper; maintain clear SOPs to ensure audit readiness and operational scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of AP/AR or accounting operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior capacity.
• Hands-on experience managing both fiat and digital asset transactions.
• Demonstrated experience implementing automation within ERP or finance workflows (e.g., AI invoice tools, integrations, billing systems).
• Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Experience managing a direct report or contractor in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a Web3, fintech, or crypto-native organization.
• Familiarity with multi-entity structures and global operations.
• Experience implementing or managing billing or usage-based invoicing platforms.
• Background applying AI tools to finance or accounting workflows.
