About the Role

What You'll Do

• Assist with legal research and writing for an Aquatic Animal Law & Policy Textbook.
• Participate in curriculum development and outreach efforts.
• Network with top professionals in the field of animal law.
• Work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
• Contribute to projects that advance the mission of the Animal Legal Defense Fund.

Requirements

• Must be a rising 3L or LLM student at an ABA accredited law school.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Strong interest in animal protection and animal law.
• Superior legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Access to a computer with internet and Microsoft Suite.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with animal law is preferred.
