About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AML Team Lead - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving team performance and development. As an AML Team Lead - Remote, you will play a crucial role in shaping our compliance strategies and enhancing our operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of AML analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Oversee the implementation of AML policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Utilize AI-driven solutions to enhance transaction monitoring and risk assessment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine compliance workflows.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Engage with high-net-worth clients to ensure their compliance needs are met effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AML, compliance, or risk management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and best practices.
• Experience with transaction monitoring systems and CRM platforms.
• Proficiency in using APIs and DevOps practices to enhance operational workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in training and developing team members.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in AML or compliance (e.g., CAMS, CFE).
• Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex programming.
• Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
