AI-First UX/​UI Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're seeking an AI-First UX/UI Designer to join our innovative team at Puffy. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while leveraging generative AI to enhance e-commerce design workflows. As an AI-First UX/UI Designer, you'll embed an AI-first methodology into daily design execution, utilizing advanced generative AI tools to create exceptional user experiences that drive customer conversion.

What You'll Do

• Integrate generative AI tools into your design processes to enhance user experiences and accelerate creative output.
• Research, test, and implement new AI design tools to keep our creative practices at the forefront of the industry.
• Design systems that impact every customer touchpoint, including product pages, checkout flows, and personalization modules.
• Collaborate with Growth and Engineering teams to execute experiments and translate data-driven insights into tangible design improvements.
• Master the GenAI design stack, including tools like Figma AI, Nano Banana, and Midjourney, to create interfaces that push the boundaries of design.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web design, preferably in an e-commerce background.
• A strong portfolio showcasing shipped product work with a clear connection to business metrics.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, and Dev Mode.
• Hands-on experience with modern GenAI design tools and a passion for the AI space.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale and present research clearly.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing chat or guided-selling flows.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and understanding its purpose.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and foundational SEO principles for e-commerce.
