About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Co-own the technical architecture and AI strategy with the CEO, ensuring the product meets market needs.
  • Orchestrate LLMs, agents, and deterministic pipelines to ingest, structure, and sanitize wine data.
  • Build the "brain" of the product by leveraging AI models to enhance data insights.
  • Develop LLM-driven extraction pipelines to convert unstructured data into structured formats.
  • Create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows allowing users to query data naturally.
  • Manage the lifecycle of AI models, setting up evaluation metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Balance cutting-edge research with practical production system needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in AI and LLMs, viewing them as tools for innovation.
  • Proven ability to own infrastructure, data models, and evaluations from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated interest in building impactful products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a founder-level ownership mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building agents for browsing, scraping, or performing multi-step actions.
  • Understanding of financial concepts like bid/ask spread and liquidity.
