Accounts Payable Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team remotely. In this role, you will assist the Finance Operations team in providing a full range of finance administration services, ensuring timely payments to our customers and suppliers. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our mission to help people achieve a better later life.

What You'll Do

• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process payments via Swift, BACS, and Faster Payments.
• Daily matching and allocation of funds received.
• Journal entry into the General Ledger.
• Respond to internal and external finance queries.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team.
• Assist Internal and External Auditors as needed.

Requirements

• Prior accounts experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong problem analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a finance-related role.
• Knowledge of finance software and tools.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
