About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager - Cybersecurity Remote to join our dynamic team at Optiv Security. In this role, you will be responsible for selling cybersecurity services and technology solutions to strategic accounts, particularly in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an integral part of our sales team, you will manage the entire sales cycle while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Sell Optiv security services to strategic accounts, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with client executives.
  • Own and coordinate all aspects of the sales cycle, leading a cross-functional team to execute effective account management plans.
  • Develop a large sales pipeline and consistently achieve gross margin targets.
  • Communicate Optiv's value proposition effectively to potential clients.
  • Engage in territory and account prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
  • Present effectively to clients and negotiate contracts successfully.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and technology partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in technology sales, preferably within the cybersecurity sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience engaging cross-functional resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to build productive business relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation experience with a history of achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated history of achievement exceeding expectations in previous roles.
