About the Role

We are seeking a passionate 2D Artist - Marketing to join our dynamic team at Good Job Games. This role is essential for creating captivating visual experiences that resonate with our audience. As a 2D Artist - Marketing remote professional, you will contribute to our mission of delivering unique and unforgettable gaming experiences to over 3.5 billion players worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Produce layout sketches from briefs and polish visuals to meet project standards.
• Illustrate characters, scenes, items, and other 2D visual assets that enhance our games.
• Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions, ensuring a collaborative environment.
• Translate creative briefs into clear visual sequences that effectively communicate our brand message.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create storyboards for advertising videos that engage and attract players.
• Transform illustrated storyboards into engaging animatic sequences, ensuring pacing and storytelling flow.
• Utilize AI tools to support the marketing pipeline, enhancing our creative output.

Requirements

• Strong illustration and drawing skills with a solid portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in visual storytelling and composition, essential for creating compelling narratives.
• Proficiency in Photoshop or Illustrator, with the ability to adapt to new tools quickly.
• Ability to manage time effectively and deliver on deadlines, ensuring project timelines are met.
• Solid knowledge of design principles, color theory, composition, and typography.
• A passion for Match Villains and mobile puzzle games, contributing to a deeper understanding of our audience.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with motion/video tools such as ToonBoom, After Effects, or Premiere.
• A portfolio with storyboard samples from previous projects, demonstrating your creative process.
