About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Care Home Receptionist to join our team at Thimbleby Court Care Home in Horncastle. As a Care Home Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors. What You'll Do
- Meet and greet visitors, residents’ families, and professionals, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and take messages efficiently.
- Manage new inquiries and arrange visits for prospective residents and families.
- Provide information about services and show visitors around the home.
- Handle general office administration including typing, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Maintain organized filing systems and accurate records, managing emails and correspondence.
- Assist with recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, and maintaining personnel records.
- Complete weekly audits and ensure compliance with CQC and company standards.
Requirements
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Experience in administration, reception, or care settings is beneficial but not essential.
- Able to multitask and manage a busy reception environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with administrative systems and computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of compliance and auditing processes.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
