About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Works Supervisor I to join our Facilities Management team at Kwong Wah Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and coordinate minor works projects and maintenance related to essential engineering systems. As a Works Supervisor I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient execution of works on site, making this a vital position for the hospital's operational success.

What You'll Do

  • Provide technical support for the coordination and management of minor works projects related to HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical Pumping, Drainage, Fire Service, Lift, Medical Gas, and ELV systems.
  • Liaise with end users, contractors, and consultants to ensure all user requirements are met efficiently.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of contractors and in-house staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Report on site safety, manpower, progress, and materials delivery to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Check site measurements and quality monitor building services works and equipment.
  • Coordinate site surveys and advise on potential risks during construction stages.
  • Attend and witness the testing and commissioning of EMABS installations.
  • Respond to incidents related to EMABS installations and carry out emergency repairs as needed.

Requirements

  • A Certificate in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of site supervisory experience in relevant fields.
  • Knowledge of English and Chinese equivalent to Form 3/Secondary 3 standard.
  • Valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Certificates such as Electrical worker registration, Safety Supervisor certification, or Grade 1 Plumber’s license.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
