About the Role

We are seeking a Weekend OTC Trader to join our team at Anchorage Digital. This OTC Trader remote position offers you the chance to work closely with experienced traders and quantitative researchers, managing the OTC portfolio while driving new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in our rapidly growing trading desk, contributing to the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide quotes and execute trades with OTC counterparties, ensuring sound risk management.
• Utilize automated trading systems and adjust strategy parameters as necessary.
• Manage the desk’s open positions, manually reducing risk when required.
• Stay informed about market themes and liquidity to enhance client interactions and execution strategies.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Anchorage Digital, participating in industry events and building a network of clients.
• Communicate effectively with our global 24/7 team, mentoring junior members to achieve expertise across processes.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency space.
• Demonstrated ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients.
• Deep knowledge of the crypto market and passion for the space.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence when interfacing with clients.
• Ability to stay updated with evolving cryptocurrency trends and regulatory guidelines.

Nice to Have

• A strong presence on crypto Twitter and an ability to uncover narratives driving crypto markets.
• Enjoyment of using memes as a method of communication.
• Familiarity with the soundtrack to Hamilton and its themes of financial innovation.
