Warehouse Store Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Store Assistant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will assist Storekeepers and the Store Supervisor in performing essential warehouse and shipping tasks. As a Warehouse Store Assistant, you will ensure efficient operations, including receiving, issuing, and shipping goods while adhering to FIFO practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations.

What You'll Do

• Assist in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers.
• Perform data entry updates for stock movements in the M3 and label printing systems.
• Conduct daily cycle counts of materials and finished goods to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Utilize and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as pallet trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks.
• Participate in training sessions and Emergency Response Team activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas following 5S principles.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors to support warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification and computer literacy with experience in material handling software.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong mathematical abilities.
• Possess a valid driving license and the ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks.
• Able to work shifts and overtime as required.
• At least 2 years of warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Capability to carry loads up to 25kg.
• Previous training in Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is an added advantage.
