Vocal Teacher - Remote Music Education

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Vocal Teacher to join Guitar Center's mission of nurturing lifelong musicians. This Vocal Teacher remote position allows you to inspire students from the comfort of your home while contributing to a culture of creativity and musical passion.

What You'll Do

  • Teach music lessons to students following the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
  • Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
  • Assist with customer service to build and maintain long-term student relationships.
  • Communicate frequently with students and families to build trust and share progress.
  • Embrace the knowledge parents have as their child's music teacher.
  • Engage in additional duties as assigned to support the store's mission.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching music or a strong passion for music education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong communication skills to foster relationships with students and families.
  • A customer-first mindset to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.

  • Previous teaching experience in a music-related field.
