UX Designer - Remote Role at Magnet Forensics

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UX Designer remote to join our innovative team at Magnet Forensics. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience of our digital products, ensuring they are intuitive and engaging. What You'll Do

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to identify user needs and pain points.
• Create user personas, user flows, wireframes, sitemaps, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Ensure logical and efficient information architecture for our applications.
• Design and implement usability testing to validate designs and iterate based on user feedback.
• Maintain clear documentation for design specifications and testing results.
• Advocate for user-centered design practices within the organization.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitor products to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business, technical, and user requirements.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in UX Design, Digital Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in UX design, particularly for web and desktop applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and successful outcomes.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and design methodologies.
• Experience gathering customer insights to drive data-informed designs.
• Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for accessibility and inclusivity, adhering to WCAG standards.
• Experience working with quantitative data to derive actionable insights.
