Join Sleeper as a User Research Intern - Remote and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the sports fan experience. As a User Research Intern, you will support research projects, synthesize findings, and contribute to the development of our leading platform that connects friends over sports. What You'll Do

  • Support various research projects and help synthesize findings for the team.
  • Monitor users’ app engagement metrics using internal dashboards.
  • Conduct benchmarking and ongoing monitoring of competitors for updates.
  • Assist in setting up and participating in UX quality assurance reviews.
  • Collaborate with a small cohort of interns while working closely with mentors and senior team members.
  • Get onboarded to our research process and ramp up to full projects, including a capstone.
  • Complete the 12-week program to gain priority for open full-time roles.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in a related field with a graduation date in 2025, or a recent graduate with around 1 year or less of experience.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of user research and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment as a proactive self-starter.
  • Genuine curiosity and passion for sports.

Nice to Have

  • Extra points for holding a degree in HCI, information sciences, statistics, data analytics, human-centered design, or a related field.
  • Experience running usability tests—in-person or remote—for mobile apps.
  • Skilled with remote testing tools, surveys, or analytics dashboards.
  • Familiarity with fantasy sports, daily fantasy, or sports betting.
