Unity Developer - Mobile Game Development

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. This Unity Developer remote position will focus on developing an exciting new mobile title that promises to engage players with its competitive gameplay and strategic elements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain gameplay systems for a new mobile game.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to create development tools and improve in-game physics.
• Participate in rapid prototyping and assist with various programming disciplines.
• Contribute to the design and development of a game that emphasizes fun gameplay and heavy customization.
• Work closely with a flat team structure to ensure a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a developer in the gaming industry.
• Proven experience developing games on mobile platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Unity and familiarity with multiple programming disciplines such as gameplay, UI, and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in game design.

Nice to Have

• Experience with competitive gameplay mechanics.
• Knowledge of game physics and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
