Unit Builder - Remote Position at Modine

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Unit Builder to join our team at Modine. As a Unit Builder, you will perform various tasks under the guidance of a group leader to assemble units in compliance with safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret provided drawings to ensure accurate assembly of units.
• Utilize various tools such as pneumatic impacts, pliers, and wrenches for assembly tasks.
• Move around to several workstations for tasks including casing/frame assembly and A-coil assembly.
• Route wiring and perform sub-assembly mating as required.
• Recognize and report any errant parts during the assembly process.
• Record completed processes for quality assurance.

Requirements

• Flexibility and adaptability to change are essential.
• Team-oriented with a strong initiative to learn and grow.
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attendance and a positive attitude are mandatory.
• Must utilize all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
