UI/UX Design Intern - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a UI/UX Design Intern - Remote at SetScout. As a part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to our search and workflow platform for film and TV locations. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience while working remotely, allowing you to manage your time effectively and contribute to meaningful projects.
What You'll Do
- Own product and brand design across flows, components, and patterns.
- Transform requirements into user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Build and iterate design systems and documentation to enhance user experience.
- Prototype interactions and microanimations to bring your designs to life.
- Collaborate closely with our core engineering team to ship your work to production.
- Tackle interesting design challenges such as image-heavy searches, filters, comparisons, and responsive layouts.
- Help define SetScout’s brand look and feel across marketing and product.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio of UI/UX work that demonstrates clear problem-solving skills and craftsmanship.
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma and prototyping software.
- A solid understanding of layout, hierarchy, typography, accessibility, and design systems.
- Bonus points for hands-on front-end engineering skills (React or similar) and familiarity with AI coding tools like Cursor.
- Experience with Tailwind and CSS, as well as motion design skills, are highly desirable.

- Experience in a collaborative environment with engineers and designers.
- Knowledge of the film and TV production industry.
