Trading Business Operations Lead - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Trading Business Operations Lead to join Anchorage Digital, a leader in the crypto space. This remote position will allow you to leverage your extensive experience in trading operations while contributing to the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead operational and non-trading functions for Anchorage Digital Prime business, ensuring seamless execution of trading activities.
• Oversee complex trade vetting, acting as the orchestrator for high-value trades across all desks.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Middle/Back Office to design and implement operational workflows for new products and markets.
• Manage system integration and optimization of trading, risk, and settlement systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for trade breaks and operational delays, driving swift resolution.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to trading activities.
• Lead the internal New Product Committee process, conducting thorough due diligence on new trading strategies.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs to measure efficiency and service quality across support functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is highly desirable.
• 8-10 years of experience in a COO, Head of Operations, or senior Business Management role within a trading business.
• Deep functional understanding of operational and risk implications of products across various markets.
• Strong knowledge of global financial market regulations and operational best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between traders and operations.

• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proven problem-solving skills to analyze complex business problems and map out necessary steps for execution.
• Proactive approach to anticipating operational bottlenecks and regulatory changes.
