About the Role

We are hiring a Taishanese Interpreter - Remote to join our team at ContacLink Solutions. This fully remote position requires fluency in Taishanese and English, along with prior interpretation experience. As a Taishanese Interpreter, you will facilitate communication by interpreting from Taishanese to English, ensuring accuracy and clarity in every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Interpret spoken language from Taishanese to English during various assignments.
• Utilize your USB wired headset and steady wired internet connection to provide high-quality interpretation services.
• Maintain an 85% proficiency in English to effectively communicate and interpret.
• Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings, ensuring cultural nuances are respected.
• Submit a work letter from previous employers and a resume with two professional references.

Requirements

• Fluency in Taishanese and English, with at least 85% proficiency in English.
• A minimum of 1 year of interpreting experience is preferred.
• Must have a USB wired headset and a reliable wired internet connection.
• Proficient with Windows 8+ or Mac operating systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
