Support Engineer - Material Planning Scheduling (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Support Engineer - Material Planning Scheduling to join our team at Decathlon. This position is primarily remote, allowing you to contribute to our Supply & Material Planning domain from anywhere. As a Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply processes and ensuring the performance of our SAP tools.

What You'll Do

  • Provide level 2 support for the SAP tool using a ticket and incident management system.
  • Ensure and enhance the performance of our solutions through Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Solman, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Datadog.
  • Establish maintenance procedures, both manual and automated.
  • Conduct continuous improvement actions through post-mortems and team retrospectives.
  • Facilitate the technical and functional skills of support resources.
  • Prepare and execute Non-Regressive Tests and cutover activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in SAP support, particularly with Material Planning Scheduling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Fluent in English to communicate with our global teams.
  • A passion for sports and understanding its values.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
  • Knowledge of data flow and exchange tools like Boomi.
