What You'll Do

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support month-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments on financial operations.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline accounting processes.
• Work closely with the finance team to gain insights into accounting operations and decision-making.
• Present your findings and experiences to company leadership at the end of your internship.
• Flexible working hours ranging from 25-40 hours per week, allowing you to balance your studies and work.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive with a willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare finance and pharmacy benefit management.
• Previous internship experience in finance or accounting.
