Store Display Manager - Furniture Showroom
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Store Display Manager to join our team at Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hands-on environment where you will be responsible for creating stunning furniture displays that attract customers and enhance their shopping experience. As a Store Display Manager, you will primarily work at our Old Orchard showroom, with occasional support at our Vernon Hills and Arlington Heights locations.
What You'll Do
- Set up and maintain elegant, eye-catching furniture displays that showcase our products effectively.
- Update and manage price tags and display signage to ensure accurate information for customers.
- Oversee and organize display inventory, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
- Coordinate basic building maintenance needs to keep the showroom in top condition.
- Serve as a backup Store Display Manager for our other locations as needed, providing flexibility and support to the team.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn display and design skills, with a creative mindset.
- Ability to use email and learn inventory software.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Physical ability to move, push, or pull furniture up to 100 lbs as needed.
