Staff Software Engineer - Hybrid Role in Women's Healthcare

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team at Midi Health. This Staff Software Engineer remote position will allow you to be a key technical driver in revolutionizing women's healthcare. You will analyze complex technical problems and lead architectural reviews across multiple teams to ensure the long-term sustainability of our healthcare ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Analyze complex technical problems and lead architectural reviews across multiple teams.
• Act as a part-time product manager for technology, advocating for critical infrastructure upgrades.
• Craft exceptional, scalable products and code, balancing speed of execution and scalability.
• Shape engineering culture by establishing best practices for automated testing, CI/CD, and high-quality code.
• Partner with Executive Leadership, Product, Marketing, and Clinical Stakeholders to identify unmet customer needs.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in building and scaling complex engineering solutions.
• Proven production experience in Django/DRF and React/Next.js.
• Ability to translate vague product goals into concrete technical roadmaps.
• Experience in building consumer-facing products and architecting complex operational systems.
• Comfortable using coding tools and LLMs to accelerate development.
