What You'll Do

• Design and implement complex backend systems from the ground up.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and infrastructure teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Build backend services in AWS to monitor and manage our autonomous fleet.
• Establish technology and infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Engage with stakeholders across various teams to achieve company milestones.
• Contribute to team culture through mentorship and collaboration.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance user experience and engineering efficiency.
• Own the product lifecycle from development to post-release support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in backend service engineering, focusing on high-availability cloud services.
• Proficiency in modern technologies such as Golang, Python, C++, gRPC, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with databases like Postgres and Redis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience in SaaS development and production rollouts.
• Familiarity with fleet management solutions for autonomous vehicles.
• Desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IoT devices and Over-the-Air communication.
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as Google Cloud or Azure.
• Experience building gRPC services using Golang.
