Sporting Goods Associate - Retail Position

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Sporting Goods Associate - Remote to join our team at Coastal Farm & Ranch. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting firearm transactions while adhering to all state and federal laws and regulations. As a Sporting Goods Associate - Remote, you will maintain high standards of customer service, generate sales, and ensure the store is well-maintained and organized.

What You'll Do

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, providing assistance in locating products.
• Ensure compliance with Gun Store Master and state-mandated background check processes.
• Complete all firearm transfers and sales in accordance with company policies and state laws.
• Safely handle all firearms and complete purchase transactions accurately.
• Maintain constant communication with associates via radio.
• Stay informed about product knowledge and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments as needed and perform daily cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of proper firearms handling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Familiarity with computer systems and email.
• Understanding of standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
