What You'll Do

• Provide exemplary planned care for children, young people, and their families.
• Assess health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
• Assist in delivering care to meet health and well-being needs.
• Develop your knowledge and skills while promoting best practices in health and safety.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain service development.

Requirements

• Registered Children’s Nurse qualification.
• Experience in a caring role with recent clinical experience in an acute healthcare environment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and apply clinical reasoning skills.
• Trained in children’s phlebotomy and child protection.
• Experience working in teams and promoting equality, diversity, and rights for children and young people.

Nice to Have

• Post-registration qualification in a clinical specialism.
• Experience in family-centered care.
• Knowledge of local and LSCB policies regarding safeguarding.
