About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer Level II specializing in ServiceNow development to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative solutions in IT Service Management (ITSM). As a Software Engineer Level II - ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and unit testing of ServiceNow Catalog Items automation and integration solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design and enhance ServiceNow Catalog items, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to perform detailed requirement analysis.
  • Develop technical design documents and well-structured test plans.
  • Facilitate regression testing and track software defects effectively.
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades and manage development efforts using JavaScript.
  • Participate in an agile-based work intake and output delivery process.
  • Translate technical complexities into simple terms for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST, and ServiceNow technologies.
  • Experience with server-side and client-side scripting on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and processes is a plus.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline.

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) or Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
  • Experience in Customer Service Management (CSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Knowledge of Agile Development and JIRA.
