About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in Event-Driven Systems to join our team in Singapore. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-volume, event-driven systems where scale, resilience, and performance are crucial. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a greenfield project, contributing to the development of a real-time post-trade platform for a global hedge fund.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust event-driven systems using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work extensively with Rust in production, even if you haven't used it before.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from infrastructure to application code.
• Contribute to the cloud-native architecture on AWS, ensuring scalability and performance.

Requirements

• Experience in software development with a focus on event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies.
• Finance experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Rust or a desire to learn it.
