ServiceNow Developer - Remote Opportunity at Vodafone

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, integration, and continuous enhancement of the ServiceNow platform. This ServiceNow Developer remote position allows you to work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-quality solutions, ensuring platform stability while applying best practices across ServiceNow applications, Service Portal, and integrations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and custom components.
• Build, enhance, and customize Service Portal features, ensuring effective collaboration with functional and technical teams.
• Deliver and support complex third-party integrations, including web services and plugin-based solutions.
• Apply a strong understanding of CMDB and Asset Management concepts.
• Improve platform stability, performance, and coverage through continuous optimization and best practices.
• Produce and maintain documentation for development, designs, and configurations.
• Partner with developers, administrators, and business analysts to support seamless communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, security controls, and quality assurance guidelines.
• Share knowledge, provide training, and support team capability building.
• Stay informed about new ServiceNow features, integration tools, and automation capabilities to improve solution delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development, including client-side and server-side scripting and JavaScript.
• Advanced understanding of ServiceNow integrations and Service Portal development.
• Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, including experience with ceremonies and workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in diverse environments.
• Experience leading a team is advantageous.

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow CSA certification and Service Portal micro-certification.
