About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Server to join our team at Shrimp Basket. This Server remote position offers you the chance to work in a dynamic environment while providing excellent service to our customers. As a Server, you will be responsible for selling and serving food and drinks in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain complete knowledge of Shrimp Basket food and beverage preparation, menu, and limited time offers (LTOs).
  • Take orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items, ensuring compliance with age restrictions.
  • Prepare and serve orders efficiently, using a computer to ring orders into a POS system.
  • Interact with customers, management, and co-workers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Perform side-work including setting up and breaking down tables, cleaning, and maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible Vendor training and check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Report to work on time in a neat and clean uniform, maintaining personal hygiene and grooming standards.

Requirements

  • Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol.
  • Basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of ServSafe Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training is required.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be punctual.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including holidays.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
