Senior UI Designer - Mobile Gaming

As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll take a leading role in crafting intuitive, visually stunning, and player-centric user interfaces for a new mobile title. This Senior UI Designer remote position offers a unique opportunity to join a small, agile team inside one of the world’s most successful gaming companies, with the creative freedom of a startup and the backing of a global leader.

What You’ll Do

• Lead UI design from concept to final implementation, creating engaging and intuitive player experiences.
• Design visually appealing interfaces that align with the game’s art direction and brand identity.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of UI assets.
• Create mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Work closely with the art director to maintain visual consistency and improve the overall aesthetic quality.
• Optimize UI for different screen resolutions and mobile platforms.
• Stay up to date with trends in mobile and casual gaming UI/UX, continually pushing for innovation and excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist or similar role in the mobile gaming industry (casual games experience highly preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI art for mobile titles from concept to final in-game execution.
• Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and other design tools.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and how to create intuitive player journeys.
• Ability to adapt styles and maintain artistic consistency across different features and events.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; you thrive in a small, fast-moving team.
• Experience working closely with developers and familiarity with implementation constraints in Unity or similar engines.
• Familiarity with AI tools usage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion graphics or UI animation tools (After Effects, Spine, etc.).
• Familiarity with Unity UI workflows.
• Passion for games and player psychology.
