Senior Technical Operations Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join us as a Senior Technical Operations Manager in a remote capacity, where you will lead our global operations team to ensure world-class infrastructure performance and reliability. What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor Technical Operations engineers across multiple time zones, promoting a collaborative team culture.
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching to develop both technical and leadership skills.
• Own 24/7 operational stability, including incident response and escalation procedures.
• Drive comprehensive incident management, including alert management and root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including SLOs and error budgets.
• Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems using APM tools and diagnostic dashboards.
• Lead technical project delivery with clear timelines and stakeholder communication.
• Drive automation initiatives, including runbook automation and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• 8+ years in technical operations with 4+ years leading Technical Operations or SRE teams.
• Proven track record of team development and mentoring engineers.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
• Deep SRE experience, including incident management and reliability engineering.
• Infrastructure automation expertise with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platform proficiency in GCP/AWS, including networking and security.
• Monitoring experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
• 24/7 operations experience, including on-call management.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in cloud platforms (GCP Professional, AWS Solutions Architect).
• Enterprise networking experience with IoT devices or telecommunications.
• Security and compliance expertise with vulnerability management.
