Senior System Architect - Automotive Connectivity Solutions

We are seeking a Senior System Architect to join our dynamic team at Rolling Wireless. What You'll Do

• Lead the technical direction of product development, defining system architecture and requirements for automotive connectivity solutions.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on system architecture and hardware/software interfaces.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical estimations for project planning.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, including RFI/RFQ responses, to secure new customer projects.
• Perform hands-on prototyping and pilot studies for new technologies based on market demands.
• Maintain comprehensive product documentation and drive innovations for patent submissions.
• Identify and address potential design weaknesses and drive improvements across the development process.

Requirements

• BSEE/CS degree; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with at least 3 years at the system architectural level.
• Experience with Qualcomm or MediaTek platforms is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of wireless technologies (WIFI, BT, V2X, NTN) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ASPICE, ISO21434, and ISO26262 processes.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Perl, JavaScript, and Lua.
• Strong understanding of system-level architecture for embedded systems, including hardware chipsets and software architecture.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in automotive telematics or infotainment systems.
• Knowledge of security practices in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems and Linux.
