We are seeking a Senior Solicitor Grade V to join our team at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. What You'll Do

• Conduct complex legal matters including advice, transactions, and litigation.
• Supervise the conduct of legal matters within a specialist practice group.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
• Manage a practice group dealing with estate management and administration.
• Provide professional supervision and direction to build team performance.

Requirements

• Completion of a law degree from an accredited institution.
• Admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW with a current practicing certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation practice.
• Ability to manage complex, contentious legal matters.
• Strong communication skills to build trust and effective relationships with clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience in estate management and administration.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and legal procedures.
• Leadership experience in supervising other solicitors.
