About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Weaver Fintech Ltd. This Senior Software Engineer remote position offers you the chance to work with innovative technologies in the FinTech space, contributing to the development of cutting-edge financial solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a technical lead, guiding development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and support software components across the full software stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing applications and create new functionalities.
  • Mentor junior software engineers, fostering their professional growth through coaching and training.
  • Evaluate new technologies and vendor packages to recommend improvements to our systems.
  • Implement best practices in software development, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality outputs.
  • Support and maintain production systems, resolving issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# .Net developer.
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services or FinTech industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong experience with C#, .Net Core, Web APIs, and front-end technologies like jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, CI/CD practices, and tools such as GitLab and Visual Studio.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Message Queuing (RabbitMQ, SQS).
  • Knowledge of unit testing and code coverage practices.
  • Familiarity with ELK Stack and New Relic for monitoring and analysis.
