Senior Shopify E-commerce Developer - Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Shopify E-commerce Developer to join our mission-driven team at Nuthatch Naturals. This fully remote position focuses on migrating our e-commerce site from WooCommerce to Shopify and ensuring ongoing management. As a Senior Shopify E-commerce Developer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and optimizing the user experience.

What You'll Do

• Migrate our site from WooCommerce to Shopify, including products, customers, orders, and SEO redirects.
• Set up and customize Shopify themes and essential applications to meet our brand's needs.
• Optimize site performance, mobile user experience, and conversion rates to drive sales.
• Manage ongoing updates, improvements, and technical maintenance of the Shopify site.
• Support product launches and troubleshoot any issues that arise post-migration.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with WooCommerce to Shopify migrations is essential.
• Strong expertise in Shopify, along with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• An e-commerce and conversion-focused mindset to enhance user engagement.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable working directly with the founder of the company.
• Mid-senior level experience in web development, particularly in e-commerce.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Familiarity with analytics tools to track site performance.
• Previous work in the personal care or consumer goods industry.
