Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the ServiceNow platform to enhance and automate IT service management processes. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM).
• Customize ServiceNow applications and manage configuration changes effectively.
• Develop workflows, scripts, business rules, and notifications to streamline processes.
• Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of developed solutions.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of nine years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
• Secret clearance required.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including scripting and customization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant programming languages.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as Security Operations (SecOps) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Prior experience working with government or defense clients.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
