Senior Security Consultant - Remote Position in Cybersecurity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Consultant - Remote to join our dynamic team at Guidepoint Security. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cybersecurity to provide strategic solutions to our clients. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our security offerings and ensuring client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Lead security assessments and penetration testing engagements to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions tailored to client needs.
• Provide expert guidance on security frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, and CISSP.
• Engage with clients to understand their security challenges and present tailored solutions effectively.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on security best practices and technologies.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes for all engagements.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
• Support sales efforts by participating in client demos and presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related field.
• Proven experience with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security solutions.
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals and risk management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Experience with project management methodologies and agile practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
