Senior QA Engineer - Remote Opportunity at Smartcat

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our fully remote team at Smartcat. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing product quality through automated testing and improving QA processes. This Senior QA Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies and contribute to a rapidly growing company.

What You'll Do

• Develop automated tests to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and share best practices in quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality early in development.
• Maintain and update automation frameworks and QA tools.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and task prioritization abilities.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and familiarity with Selenium.
• Proficient in TypeScript or another OOP language (Python is a plus).
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of REST API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured).
• Familiarity with QA tools like Allure and TestRail.
• Understanding of load/performance testing tools (Locust, K6).
