Senior Python Engineer - AI/​ML Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Python Engineer to join our innovative team at Planner 5D. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be instrumental in building production-ready systems that support our AI initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a platform that simplifies home design for millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable services that support the AI lifecycle, collaborating closely with the research team.
• Develop tools for pre/post-processing data for AI applications and other uses.
• Create scalable pipelines for data collection, processing, and transformation that power next-generation AI systems.
• Implement new models and features at scale using Triton Inference Server, ONNX, and TensorRT.
• Work on a range of projects from rapid MVPs to robust production-grade solutions.
• Integrate with APIs such as ChatGPT and LangChain to enhance our offerings.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable backend platforms in production.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
• Practical experience managing challenges throughout the AI/ML lifecycle.
• Ability to translate complex business domains into software models using Domain-Driven Design.
• Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and graphs.
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Kotlin or Java.
• Deep experience in mathematics, particularly linear algebra and geometry.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D technologies and software (e.g., OpenGL, WebGL, Blender).
