About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Python Developer to join our team focused on Grid Forecasting. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to innovative solutions that impact the energy sector.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain a grid simulation tool that processes large volumes of data and performs calculations in containers (AWS, Python, Kubernetes).
- Work with relational databases such as Postgres and Snowflake, and utilize DynamoDB when necessary.
- Implement Git-based CI/CD pipelines to build containers using Docker.
- Contribute to technical decisions and build scalable, reliable solutions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary Agile teams (BizDevOps), primarily communicating in English.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields (preferably Computer Science).
- Experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Python development.
- Proficient in Python, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS or similar), CI/CD practices, and Docker.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres and Snowflake.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, time series data, and orchestration frameworks.

Who Will Succeed Here
