Senior Project Manager - Hospitality Design Focus
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, design-driven projects in the hospitality sector. This Senior Project Manager remote position will be pivotal in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
What You'll Do
- Own multiple hospitality projects, from high-concept restaurants to luxury hotels, ensuring they meet client expectations and project goals.
- Manage the Project P&L, developing and updating budgets, revenue forecasts, and margin targets.
- Oversee contract lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating proposals and contracts.
- Build detailed workplans and maintain a live master schedule for timely project delivery.
- Conduct weekly and monthly reporting to senior leadership on project health and performance.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their brand and operational needs.
- Drive compliance with internal policies and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the construction stage, resolving complex field issues while maintaining design intent.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in high-end hospitality-focused interior design or architecture.
- Strong fiscal acumen with expertise in project budgeting, forecasting, and utilization management.
- Broad knowledge of various hospitality typologies, including restaurants and multifamily projects.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior executives.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, project accounting software, and standard PM tools.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, InDesign, and SketchUp/Enscape is highly desirable.
Nice to Have
- Experience in process improvement within project management frameworks.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and redesign workflows for efficiency.
- Strong command of financial tools such as MS Excel and ERP systems.
