Senior Network Security Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our network infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization from cyber threats while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust network security solutions to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and procedures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security engineers and team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA/FTD.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions, particularly AWS and Azure.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and EDR technologies.
