Senior Motion Designer - AI-Driven Brand Storytelling

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join our dynamic team at AlphaSense. This Senior Motion Designer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to blend high-end cinematic motion with cutting-edge AI-driven production techniques. As a key player in the AlphaSense Brand & Creative team, you will be responsible for defining and executing our brand's visual language in motion, from product UI reveals to high-concept brand films.

What You'll Do

• Create high-fidelity motion graphics for brand campaigns, product launches, social channels, and executive keynotes.
• Design and implement repeatable animation systems that leverage AI to reduce manual grunt work.
• Partner with Brand Leads to evolve the AlphaSense motion guidelines, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all global touchpoints.
• Stay on the bleeding edge of creative technology, regularly demoing new tools and techniques to the broader creative team.
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers to translate complex UI into pixel-perfect marketing animations.
• Build a library of motion assets and templates that allow for rapid iteration without sacrificing quality.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the AlphaSense platform to ensure motion work reflects real product value.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in motion graphics and animation, with a portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of timing, physics, typography, and storytelling.
• Deep experience animating SaaS and complex UI systems.
• Expertise in After Effects and the Adobe Suite; familiarity with 3D tools like C4D or Blender is a plus.
• Comfortable working in Figma and collaborating directly with Product Designers.
• Active experimentation with AI tools such as Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, and Runway Gen-3.
• Ability to turn complex abstract concepts into beautiful and easy-to-understand visual metaphors.
• Thrives in the grey area of emerging tech and enjoys troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Houdini.
• Knowledge of interaction design and micro-interactions.
• Ability to create MOGRTs, scripts, or automated pipelines.
