About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Network Management remote to lead our global network engineering team at McDonald's. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and operation of our Global Restaurant Network Transformation (GRNT). You will be at the forefront of technology innovation, enabling a seamless experience for over 65 million customers daily.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a globally distributed team of network engineers, focusing on performance management and career development.
  • Establish global engineering standards and operating models to enhance accountability and automation-first thinking.
  • Oversee global market onboarding and technical readiness assessments for GRNT adoption.
  • Provide global engineering leadership for GRNT deployment preparation and execution, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Partner with Global Network Operations to manage problem resolution across markets, driving long-term corrective actions.
  • Define and lead the global network automation strategy, focusing on zero-touch provisioning and deployment automation.
  • Maintain active technical engagement in large-scale network environments, including architecture reviews and sophisticated troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering, particularly in global environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams across various regions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking platforms and Palo Alto security platforms.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale deployments and network automation initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and lead across diverse cultures and operating models.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or branch-based global networks.
  • Familiarity with global managed service providers and multi-vendor ecosystems.
  • Exposure to observability, AIOps, and platform-based network operations.
