About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Canadian Partnership Sales to join our team at Riipen. This remote position is crucial for driving our national ecosystem strategy by leading and cultivating high-impact partnerships across Canada. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our contributions with national talent development priorities, ensuring that Riipen is positioned as a leader in innovative talent pathways.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage strategic sales engagements across postsecondary and workforce organizations, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and workforce impact goals.
  • Drive the full lifecycle of strategic pursuits from pipeline build to final close, identifying opportunities and engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive ecosystem strategies that drive national partnership growth, leveraging your deep understanding of postsecondary, industry, and regional needs.
  • Engage senior institutional, industry, and workforce leaders to build trust and position Riipen as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Shape and present compelling narratives to senior stakeholders, showcasing the long-term value of partnerships through data-driven insights.
  • Submit high-impact government funding proposals, grant applications, and strategic pitches to public and private sector partners.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to strengthen solution fit and accelerate partnership momentum.
  • Establish yourself as a leading figure within designated sector and regional ecosystems, proactively engaging with senior industry leaders and policymakers.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in strategic business development and ecosystem partnership management.
  • A proven track record in successfully shaping or selling high-value, multi-year agreements with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to navigate politics and ambiguity.
  • Expertise in drafting government funding proposals and high-level partnership proposals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to elevate conversations at the executive level.
  • A well-established network of senior-level contacts across various sectors.
  • A track record of performing in fast-moving environments, bringing clarity and momentum to opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and carry a quota, executing and owning sales at every stage.
