Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team at Aloha Browser. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the European Economic Area or from our office in Limassol, Cyprus. You will focus on developing advanced machine learning models with a strong mathematical foundation, optimizing them for mobile environments.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
• Adapt and optimize research for mobile platforms, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing products.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Maintain clean, modular code and prioritize production-ready work.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of modern ML architectures, including Transformers and Neural Networks.
• Proven experience in deploying models to production.
• Fluency in Russian is required.
• Entry-level experience in machine learning or data science roles.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile deployment using CoreML for iOS and TFLite/ONNX for Android.
• Familiarity with optimization techniques such as QAT, pruning, and distillation.
• Background in LLM fine-tuning, Recommender Systems, or Reinforcement Learning.
• Knowledge of C++, Swift, or Kotlin for systems coding.
• Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow and GitHub Actions.
