About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at LGC. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on BRCGS digital platforms, contributing to our mission of providing intelligent assurance in the global food and beverage sector.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing platforms, focusing on usability and performance.
- Write high-quality, secure, and efficient code to enhance existing solutions and support new feature development.
- Implement new functionalities and integrate emerging technologies, including AI and automation.
- Support the maintenance of Azure infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability.
- Collaborate with a development team and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in code reviews and learn from feedback to improve coding practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends to help evolve BRCGS digital platforms.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Proficiency with back-end technologies such as .NET Core and .NET 8 (C#).
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with API-led platforms.
- Proficiency with modern front-end technologies, preferably React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience in developing cloud applications and deploying them to Microsoft Azure.
- Strong skills in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning automation (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure ADB2C.
- Strong interest in applying AI and automation technologies.
