Senior Electronic Systems Test Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electronic Systems Test Engineer to join our End to End Telematics Testing Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing simulation and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing to validate the Client's Digital systems. As a Senior Electronic Systems Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of both onboard and back-office features.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive testing of electronic systems, utilizing HIL equipment to execute product tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify product requirements and align testing strategies with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement validation plans, ensuring effective risk mitigation through standard test procedures.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate technical information to team members and business units.
• Innovate testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in software verification and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 1-3 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience in electronics controls.
• Proficiency in HIL system testing and hardware setup/maintenance.
• Experience in software coding and developing test automation using Python.
• Basic knowledge of Machine and Engine ECUs and software update processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Machine Datalink architecture, including SAE J1939.
• Experience with testing service tools and remote configuration of products.
